Volume Based Fit
Volume Based Fit
Fit and performance—in climbing, you cannot have one without the other. If your shoe has you feeling like a Sunday drive in an ‘80s Cadillac, you’ll lack the power and precision you need to stick that next move. But your shoe can’t be sardine-can-tight either—you’ll be too focused on the pain to perform.
Performance Isn’t Gendered
Our Low-Volume and Mid-Volume fits (designated by LV and MV) are about getting the right size for you, whoever you are.
Our Sizing Speaks Volumes
No two feet are the same, so we construct our shoes to ensure they fit as many of those feet as possible. At its simplest, our LV shoes feature a lower heelcup and a narrower, lower-profile fit. Our MV shoes? Just the opposite.

Goodbye Inaccurate Sizing Conversions
No need to frantically Google how to convert your size from men’s to women’s, Euro to US and back again. All of our LV and MV shoes have traditional men’s and women’s sizing on the box and on the label inside the shoe. Unfortunately, you’ll still need to Google how to convert from Font Grades to V Grades.
A Different Approach
We approach our fits the way we do our other technologies—through extensive R&D, testing and climber feedback. Our designers consumed countless pots of coffee developing and refining our LV and MV fits—it’s a wonder there’s any left in southern California. But the results are worth it: the best-fitting and best-performing climbing shoes on the market.
